MEET YOUR PEDIATRICIAN

Hi, I’m
Dr. Rosana Lastra.

Board-certified pediatrician · Founder · Mom

I created our Fourth Trimester program because bringing a baby home changes life for the whole family.

Your baby needs thoughtful medical care. You need time to ask questions, help with feeding, and people who are paying attention to how you’re doing, too.

That’s how we think about a village: people with different areas of expertise, working together around your family. We help coordinate that support so you can spend more time getting to know your baby.

Meet us before you decide.

A FEW THINGS YOU MAY BE WONDERING

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Should I enroll before my baby is born?

We recommend starting during pregnancy so we can plan your care and arrange your prenatal consultation. If your baby has already arrived, ask us about availability and how timing would work for your family.

When do the three months begin?

Your prenatal consultation happens before birth. The three months of pediatric and postpartum care begin shortly after delivery, with timing coordinated around your baby’s arrival.

Where are home visits available?

Home visits are available within a 10-mile radius around our Downtown St. Petersburg office. We’ll confirm your home address and travel availability before enrollment. Some parts of your care may take place virtually or in the office.

Is the package covered by insurance?

The $2,500 package is self-pay. We can provide documentation on request, but reimbursement depends on your plan and is not guaranteed. Insurance remains important for hospital care, emergencies, and services outside the package.

Can I participate if I already have a pediatrician?

We can discuss coordination with your existing providers during your Meet & Greet and agree on how your baby’s care will be managed.

What happens after three months?

You can discuss continuing with a Head2Toe membership or transitioning to another provider. We’ll help plan that next step with your family.

Is this only for first-time parents?

No. The program also supports families welcoming another baby. Each baby and postpartum experience can bring different questions and needs.

How is this different from the free Meet & Greet?

The Meet & Greet is a complimentary conversation to learn about the program. The Fourth Trimester Package is the separate, paid care program, including prenatal preparation and three months of support after birth.
